Pipixer
Privacy policy
Last updated: 26 September 2026
This policy describes information handled by Pipixer version 1.0 for iPhone and iPad, the Pipixer account services used by that app, and this website.
For privacy questions, access, correction or deletion requests, email ghazijohar@gmail.com.
App scope and availability
Pipixer combines recording, importing, organising, editing and exporting video with Home and Social community features. This policy also covers account profiles, uploads, reviewed publication, messages, moderation, AI tools and purchases when those services are enabled. The community release is undergoing certification; this policy does not announce public availability of every feature.
Account access can use email/password, Google or Sign in with Apple as offered by your build and the enabled service configuration. Provider sign-in shares the identifier and profile information you authorise. Apple can supply a private relay email address instead of your real address. Pipixer does not receive your Apple or Google password.
Information Pipixer handles
- Account information. Firebase Authentication handles your email address, password credential and account identifier. Pipixer stores profile information such as your display name, email address, preferences, account state and sign-in timestamps. Pipixer does not receive your readable password.
- Community content and activity. Cloud services store submitted videos, images, audio, captions, descriptions, creator profiles and related upload and review status. Published content is visible to its selected audience. Follows, reactions, saves, comments, messages and attachments, blocks, reports and appeals are associated with the relevant accounts. Uploading alone does not publish a video.
- Moderation. Content checks can process video frames, audio, transcripts and text. Restricted review evidence, assessment results and decision records support safety review and appeals. Authorised reviewers may inspect relevant content. Automated publication remains disabled until certification is complete.
- Purchases and connected services. When enabled, purchases and credits create transaction, entitlement and account records. Connected providers process the information needed for the operation you request. Availability, price and any required permission are shown in the relevant feature.
- Projects and media. Project packages, imported media and edits are stored on your device. Some project metadata, version snapshots, recovery records and media may be transferred to Pipixer cloud services when a signed-in recovery, cloud project, export, comparison or other clearly labelled online operation requires it.
- Support and feedback. If you contact us, we receive your email address and the information, attachments and device details you choose to include.
- Service and security records. Authentication, app-integrity, cloud and hosting services can process request identifiers, timestamps, app and device information, push tokens, network addresses, errors and security signals needed to deliver and protect the service.
Camera, microphone, Photos, files and speech
Pipixer requests camera and microphone access when you record, Photos or Files access when you choose or save media, and speech recognition when you use a spoken editing or caption feature. iOS controls these permissions. Pipixer accesses only the media you select or create through the relevant feature.
Cloud services and SDKs
Pipixer uses Google Firebase and Google Cloud services for authentication, account profiles, app integrity, callable backend operations, cloud storage, project recovery, community services and push notifications where available. Firebase Analytics and advertising SDKs are not configured for this release.
Online AI tools may send the media, prompts, text, voice or likeness assets needed for your requested operation to an external processor. These operations are not all performed on your device. Use only assets you have permission to process, and review the feature's provider and consent information before submitting them. Provider and data-practice verification is part of release certification.
Some editing tools can use Apple media frameworks, WebRTC components or YouTube playback components. Those components are used for their visible media function. Pipixer does not sell personal information and does not use the app for cross-app advertising tracking.
Service providers may process information outside Australia, including in the United States and other locations where they operate. Their infrastructure may retain security and delivery logs under their service terms.
Diagnostics
Optional editor operational diagnostics require consent. Some records stay on the device; enabled cloud diagnostics can include performance, latency, errors and a pseudonymous identifier associated with your account. They are not anonymous while that association exists. You can change your diagnostics choice in the app. Necessary authentication, security and service-delivery records are separate from optional metrics.
The moderation evidence policy uses a 30-day retention window for restricted assessment evidence, subject to an applicable review, appeal or legal hold. Published videos and account records have separate lifecycles: they do not automatically disappear after 30 days.
Retention and account deletion
Local projects remain on your device until you delete them or remove the app's local data. Cloud records remain while needed to provide your account, recovery or requested online operation and for reasonable security, backup, dispute or legal purposes.
You can open More, Account, then Account Data & Deletion to export cloud account data and initiate permanent deletion in the app. The deletion process removes the Firebase account and associated Pipixer cloud data covered by the deletion request. Local project packages stay on the device so they are not erased without a separate local action. We may retain narrowly required records where law, fraud prevention, security or dispute obligations require it.
Your choices
You can change permissions in iOS Settings, choose which media to import, use local project editing when network services are unavailable, turn optional diagnostics consent off, export cloud account data, and delete your account in the app.
Website
This website has no advertising, marketing tracker, sign-in form or media-upload form. Its hosting and security infrastructure processes network requests needed to deliver and protect the pages. Feedback and support links open your email application.
Changes and concerns
We will update this page when the submitted app or its information handling changes. For a concern or complaint, email us with enough detail to investigate. Australian privacy information is available from the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
